Living My Way with Beginner Bum Marketing and Wealthy Affiliates

Today I hit the $10 mark from my articles written on hubpages!! Google is sending me a check. Pretty sweet, I will be scanning and keeping a copy of that check for a long time. This is very exciting, one step in a larger process. Hope all of you working on your article bum marketing are starting to see some success. Enjoy and take the day!

Just had a nice morning workout, was getting some details for my job hammered out and having a nice conversation with my sis on the phone. Great day, the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, the wind is caressing your skin as you briskly walk. I get back in my house plump down on my computer and check my hubs, which I do like clockwork(kind of obsessively) a few times a day. Then I go to my google adsense just to see what's up and yay $7.24, we are on the rise. It took FOREVER to get the first $2 now it's climbing and quickly. I'll have $10 before I know it. With Halloween around the corner it's time for me to get my next holiday covered. Until then, I will put on my sweater, talk to trolly and enjoy this beautiful day!

My Halloween costume ideas from hubpages have been viewed over 1500 times since I created them a month ago and now have given me $6.24 in google adsense! DOUBLE WHOO HOO from my last post. I am still developing my ebook and now working on promoting a clickbank product, which I find doesn't have a lot of information out there so it's time to begin researching and learning and getting good quality content online for my potential market to read, click and buy. Super exciting are these times. I can't wait to come back here and post that my sales account has $6,000 in it. Stay tuned. :-D I keep thanking wealthy affiliates for their help in guiding me in this process.

Today it happened, I checked my adsense account and something amazing happened! I had over $3 from clicks in it. Where did they come from? Who is clicking? This I need to find out,  so I will find out how to put google analytics on my hub pages to see which of my articles are generating the most interest. I believe that my halloween articles which are getting traffic like crazy would be the suspected culprits. My Hubs tells me how much traffic each has been getting the closer to halloween it gets. As of today my adsense account is $3.64, it's starting to rise faster now. On to the next step, I searched the wealthy affiliates forum for how to get more traffic to my landing pages and I am now learning about making more backlinks to my articles and eventually to my landing pages. Here is my weekly article marketing update. Thus far my adsense account says I have $2.62 I had one click two days ago. Still working on fine tuning my accounts. I now have figured out the back link, relink, and article re-writing techniques. The clickbank and click junction products are not ones that I am really that excited about. It is hard to promote products with article marketing if you don't really believe what you are writing. When I was reading the wealthy affiliate forum, because the questions there always provoke thought, I had an epiphany from one of the threads. It directed us to the job board where a wealthy affiliate was helping create your own ebook to sell online. I was struck by this. I finally figured out my niche(which wealthy affiliates stresses you have) for article marketing– athletics, which should have been easy. I am so opinionated about this topic that article marketing would be a cinch. First I need to write my ebook, which on another forum I belong to, I found a co-collaborator to help me write the book. So I am in the process of self promoting with article marketing which I have to thank wealthy affiliate university for. They have been an awesome resource to answer my questions and get me motivated. The other wealthy affiliates who have success keeps me thinking positively and going forward. I will be slowly doing article marketing on my specific niche and getting an audience for my ebook, once I get the traffic I will introduce the book to them and wealthy affiliates. Until then I am going to practice getting high traffic and adsense clicks. I'll keep you posted.

Bright and early in the morning for all of you that are following my progress. I am looking to figure out how to get forms on my sites so I can start gathering email addresses for all those lovely site visitors that I have. I am also learning about pinging, so we will see how that goes. Just checked google adsense and whoo hoo $2.50, slowly rising. I keep imagining the day that decimal shifts over and it's $2,500. I have a feeling I will need to figure out clickbank or commission junction for that, but one step at a time. At the Wealthy Affiliates they say you need to specialize to get the big dollars, but I haven't figured out what to focus on yet. I like a lot of things.

The first is my hub pages, there a lot there because it is my favorite to post to. So much easier then the others, it doesn't have the long wait to publish, and it is so user friendly.

The next I just discovered yesterday and that is knol by google.

I have some squidoo pages but I do not really enjoy their format, it is a lot of work to fill out a lens and the end result is no better then hub pages

I also have articles pending(darn that waiting time) on Article Alley, Article base, Ezine(who is the most difficult to post for) and Article Factory(whose login I can't remember).

Thought I would start filling you in on my progress with Wealthy Affiliates. I should have begun posting when I started with Wealthy Affiliates, but I was busy figuring out the ropes and learning how to get started. Here is my progress so far.

9/20 Registered with Wealthy Affiliates and wrote first article for my first basic bum marketing campaign. Whew, I was a little nervous putting my words out there for all to see, but I have calmed down since then. Here is my first published article. Not brilliant but it get's the point across.

9/23 Got my first top listing on a Google Search! whoo hoo, if you search basic bum marketing you will get my article. This is one of the articles I wrote, hubpages :-D The process I learned at Wealthy Affiliates Worked.

9/24 I figured out that you also really need to look at how many searches a day your keywords get...my top listing is not a high search key term so traffic is not high yet. But it is still top listed! I have the process now it's keyword hunting time. Word tracker is a tool I started using to see if the searches are a high yield.

9/30 I have written 11 articles and their variations on a few article sites! Check out my hubpages if you want to see what I am writing about.

10/1 I finally looked at google adsense and I had money in there! My first money from content whoo hoo! $2.04, but they are my $2.04!!! Now I know that money can indeed be made, back to Wealthy Affiliate forums to learn how to optimize and maximize my visitors and clicks.  Stay tuned more to come. I will keep posting my progress here.
